In exchange for a non-refundable €50 Euros deposit, SIETAR Europa will GUARANTEE YOU WILL PAY THE LOWEST PRICE for admission and that this will be €100 lower than the early bird fee. The balance of the congress fee has to be paid in full by May 31st 2013 or the regular registration fee will apply.

All those who register and pay the deposit for a place will be placed in a draw and have the chance of winning a free place. One place was awarded during the congress in Krakow and one will be awarded to persons registering online before March 31st 2012.

In Addition:
All those registering will receive a FREE edition of the landmark book entitled "How Maps Change Things: a conversation about the maps we choose and the world we want" by Ward Kaiser.  This examination goes beyond maps as nouns, as tactile objects that show locations and distances. The book examines maps as change agents, reflecting intentions and setting agendas, stating who has what, and who has not. What are the messages sent by maps? What were Mercator, Peters and other mapmakers setting out to do with each of their creations? Ward Kaiser, author, publisher, pastor, and historian has been leading the discussion of what maps mean and the power of maps in framing human activities.  

We anticipate the total pre early bird offer price to be around €250 - €300.

Please Note: as is our usual policy, the congress fee does NOT include lunch or the gala dinner on Saturday.  These will need to be booked separately.

If your circumstances change and you are unable to attend the Congress in person you will have unlimited access to the live event on-line and up to 6 months afterwards (this virtual participation will normally be charged at €75).
